PLANTS WE GROW

We know plants. We grow them. Wilson Nurseries is an established, progressive "total concept nursery" and Kentucky's Destination Garden Center for a reason. Our year round nursery includes more than 4 acres of greenhouses where we grow our own plants. Being our own grower allows us to have quality control and gives you truly, locally grown plants.

ANNUALS

You want color ... we grow it. Our selection simply cannot be surpassed. Our glass greenhouses overflow nearly year round with literally thousands of all the usual favorites plus unusual heirlooms and hard-to-find bloomers. Not exactly your grandmother's flowers, but then again, you'll find those too.

PERENNIALS

An unbelievable assortment of the finest varieties from A to Z, plus hostas, daylillies, peonies, succulents, ornamental grasses, flowering vines, groundcovers, walkables, natives, woodlands and the list goes on. Get captivated by our perennials.

HERBS & VEGETABLES

We proudly boast Kentucky's most expansive line of herbs and veggies. We grow well over 200 varieties of herbs (not to mention our scented geraniums & edible flowers). Dig into our veggie plants featuring well chosen gourmet & heirloom varieties to please your culinary palette. Kick off your healthy lifestyle by growing a kitchen garden starting with our expertly grown plants!

FRUITS & BERRIES

We make growing your own fruit trees, brambles & berries a successful endeavor for anyone. Our carefully chosen varieties adapt well to Kentucky soils & growing conditions in this part of our ever-expanding "edibles" program.

ORNAMENTAL GRASSES

Known for their drought resistance and easy care, ornamental grasses provide interest throughout the seasons including graceful movement, feathery plumes in late summer & fall and winter interest.

HOUSEPLANTS & TROPICALS

Our passion for these will get you hooked, too. We have a year-round selection of both the unique & unusal to beautify and purify your living spaces.

ROSES

Hybrid teas, floribundas, grandifloras, shrubs roses and knockouts. Carpets, climbers and even cut roses are well-established, hardy and ready to thrive in your beds, rose gardens or containers.

TREES & SHRUBS

Flowering & evergreen trees and shrubs are our specialty. We have the finest field grown and container nursery stock. Our balled & burlapped trees and shrubs are locally grown on our farms featuring tried and true varieties. Because they are grown in our climate and characteristic clay soils, they transplant and adapt well. The result is healthy, hardy plants that will perform in your landscape.
